4. Add in Purees for Extra moisture

Purees from seasonal vegetables such as sweet potato, squash or pumpkin will add moisture to any baked goods. Two to four tablespoons of a puree can be safely added without having to do a substitution with other ingredients. Recipes can also be made healthier by swapping half of the butter or oil for a puree.
