We hand decorate over 10,000 biscuits a day to supply high class supermarkets and fine food retail outlets and we are looking for passionate, creative and industrious people to work with us cutting, baking, icing and packaging our lovely hand decorated novelty biscuits. 

We have the current positions available: 

Biscuit Decorator

Shifts available:

• Monday to Friday working 12pm – 8pm shift (37.5 hours per week)
• Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, flexible with hours)

Salary: £12.50 per hour starting salary with the potential to increase to £13.80 once fully trained Decorator achieving targets.

Main tasks and Responsibilities:

• Predominantly the role is hand Icing various biscuit designs and decorating products via visual samples.
• Assisting with the Robot Decorating machines as required.
• Sugar pasting – feeding through the sugar paste machine. The sugar paste is then applied to the biscuit.
• Ensure quality checks are completed and standards are met. Report non-conforming products to the Team Leader.
• Work station paperwork completed daily.
• Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met.
• Keep work station and area clean and tidy. “Clean as you go “during the day.
• Completion of production paperwork.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Experience in cake crafting and baking would be advantageous but not essential for the suitable candidate.
• Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Good attention to detail.
• Previous expereince of working in a food production/manufacturing environment along with basic health and safety and food hygience knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
